OpenHomes Initiative
Holy Homes Africa (HHA) is running a campaign to collect and transform donated items to support those in need. The campaign involves:
1. Open Homes Festival: A bi-annual event promoting social support, cultural exchange, networking, learning, and entertainment.
2. Open Home Markets: Monthly markets organized by various stakeholders, including corporate entities, civil society organizations, and individuals, to collect and sell donated items.
3. Open Home Visits: Regular home visits by HHA volunteers and staff to assess vulnerable families and provide donated home kits.
4. Open Home Builds: Collaborative efforts to repair, paint, or build homes for homeless and vulnerable families in informal settings and rural areas.
5. Open Home Stores: Centers where donated household items are received, repurposed, and sold at affordable prices to support Open Home Builds and Visits.
All proceeds and donations support less privileged families in informal settings and rural communities in Uganda.
